Today i am a superhero! The Aberdeen woman's center came to the ship today.  They asked for crew to donate blood to their clinic.  A LOT of people gave...including me!! I got a sticker :)  As some of you know, i do NOT like needles so this was a huge step for me.  when they took the needle thingy out i started gushing blood all over my arm and the bed.  It was uh...gross.  But, because of that i got a nice big band-aid with a smiley face on it. yay! And i got a sticker that said "i gave blood today".
Tonight we went to a local hospital and sang Christmas carols and told the Christmas story to the patients.  It was so much fun! we had props for the kids/patients to be the characters in the story.  There will be pictures soon.  After we went around and talked to the patients and their caregivers.  I would like to go back to the hospital tomorrow but i don't know if it will happen.
Those are the two exciting things that happened today for me.  I spent the rest of the day knitting and watching The West Wing, which by the way is a fascinating show.
